TE/AE 102 ART AS PHILOSOPHY OF HUMANITY

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

  • Prerequisite: Two years of visual arts experience.
  • Executive Education Certificate or Youth Intensive Workshop Certificate: “TECHNOLGY INTERNSHIPS”, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING. A high level project-based “INDEPENDENT STUDY” art program designed to help students build capacity to understand empathy and humanity; building mental toughness and mindfulness strategies. Students will critique and study art from around the world. This study will merge with music, architecture, history and how it all affects the human existence.
  • Executive Education Seminar Certificate or Youth Seminar Prep Certificate: Ongoing monthly seminar subscription service to current visual artists and visual arts educator professionals that will allow time for networking, collaboration on projects, events and participate in table top activities based on industry trends. TE/AE 103 THEATRE PREP

COURSE DESCRIPTION

  • Prerequisite: Two years of music theatre and acting experience.
  • Executive Education Certificate or Youth Intensive Workshop Certificate: The Theatre/Acting and Music Industry, “Movie Deal” in collaboration with national movie studios and corporate partners. Students will focus on selecting and perfecting three monologues from three different forms of theatre to be presented in front of a panel of industry talent agents for performance notes. They will all participate in “Acting Master Class” sessions at the end of the program to prepare for their end of program performance. The goal is for each student to develop the skills and abilities to audition for “Movie Deals” at the end of the “three” year program.
  • Executive Education Seminar Certificate or Youth Seminar Prep Certificate: Ongoing monthly seminar subscription service to current theatre artists and theatre arts educator professionals that will allow time for networking, collaboration on projects, events and participate in table top activities based on industry trends. Contract outside theatre arts production opportunities will be open to participants. TE/AE 104 MUSIC CONSERVATORY PREP

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

  • Prerequisite: Two years of Classical Vocal Performance experience and ability to read music.
  • Executive Education Certificate or Youth Scholarship Honors Certificate: This is a program is focused on classical vocal live virtual lessons. The Music Conservatory, “Scholarship” is a three year program designed to prepare Youth and Adults to audition to over twenty music colleges and universities in collaboration with Music Universities, Vocal Science Clinic and Corporate Partners. Students will work to prepare for the audition process of securing a full tuition scholarship. These students will provide performances at select events. Students will participate in a “Vocal Master Class” session with a Vocal Research Center. All students will present one piece for the end of year recital presentation in front of a panel of University Vocal Professors. Performance notes will be provided to students after their performance for vocal development purposes. The goal is for each student to develop the skills and abilities to audition for “four year tuition scholarship” to a school of music at the end of the “three” year program. Participants will work on repertoire that will prepare them for that perfect classical music audition. Partner universities, arts organizations and arts professionals will prepare participants to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships in the industry.  The goal is for three year program Youth and Adult students to leave the program with the needed skills and abilities to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships.  The program can help performers gain experience towards meet the SAG-AFTRA membership requirements.  Youth and Adults may enroll in the Arts Education & Entertainment course after age 18 to become freelance performers or artists for contracted events.

The Music Industry, “Performance Contract” Master Class Series will introduce students to every area of the music industry. This includes a “Music Press Kit Development Seminar” with national music and corporate partners. Participants will work on repertoire that will prepare them for that perfect classical music audition. Partner universities, arts organizations and arts professionals will prepare participants to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships in the industry.  The goal is for three year program Youth and Adult students will leave the program with the needed skills and abilities to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships.  The program can help performers gain experience towards meet the SAG-AFTRA membership requirements.

Youth and Adult Students will learn multiple pieces of music and participate in master classes lead by industry professionals. This includes a “Master Class” with a national school of music. Partner universities, arts organizations and arts professionals will prep participants to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships in the industry.  Youth four year program students will leave the program with the needed skills and abilities to audition for record deals, movie deals, acting deals, performance contracts, music scholarships, apprenticeships and internships.  The program will help performers and actors meet the SAG-AFTRA membership requirements.  Youth and Adults may become part of the Arts & Entertainment program after age 18 to become freelance performers or artist for contracted events.   • Prerequisite: Must have a desire to be a voice in developing our new society.
  • Executive Education Certificate and Youth Intensive Workshop Certificate: Partner universities and social emotional learning organizations will provide leadership training in social justice, anti-racism, diversity, equity, exclusivity and inclusion. Participants will also be provided concrete strategies to help manage social emotional learning conversations focused on current events affecting our daily society. The social emotional learning framework will be used to help participants develop an understanding of how to navigate through the political and bureaucratic process of any public organization using the (SEL) process.
